Missions Update

Dear Island Family,

I can hardly believe it has been just over a year since the kids and I have moved back to the Island and I began full time prayer ministry. The time just flew by and has been so incredible. I’m extremely thankful for all your support, both financially and in prayer. It has definitely been a blessing to watch God move so faithfully in the lives of people who have sought Him out and have allowed me to be a part of it. Wow, what an honor!

I just want to remind you that I am available to pray with you in two locations, Monday-Friday at Singing Waters from 9am-12pm, and the prayer chapel at ACC from 1pm-4pm.

Please feel free to call me on my cell phone if you need prayer outside of these set times. I would be glad to meet with you or pray with you on the phone.

I look forward to continuing to serve as the Lord leads and hope to be able to pray with each and every one of you.

   Prayer Ministry Description


Title: Missionary of Prayer

Accountability Team:
* Pastor Enrique, Catalina Bible Church
* Darlene Schmeckpeper, Prayer Coordinator & Prayer Purpose Team   Leaders, Avalon Community Church

Classification: Full time intercessor
Vision: To be able to pray for the body of Christ on a full time basis and to have a space available with daily set times so people can receive prayer for their individual needs.

Mission:
To intercede on behalf of the churches regarding any and all activities, events, missions, ministries, financial needs, and the needs of the people. To fully support the pastors and leaders of the church bodies in prayer.

Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
* Hold open prayer room hours Mon - Fri
   3 hours - Singing Waters Christian Center (346 Catalina Ave)
   3 hours - Avalon Community Church (236 Metropole Ave)
* Keep prayer list updated including:
* All Bible studies and church ministries
* Missionaries and mission trips
* Current outreaches
* Church activities
* Church needs and finances
* Pastors & leaders, and their families
* The individual prayer needs of the people
* The City of Avalon - Church involvement and relationships
* Revival on Catalina Island
* Attend intercessors group on Monday nights
* Attend open prayer group on Friday nights
* On call availability - Attend activities and situations where prayer is 
   requested.
* Attend at least 2 prayer conferences a year
* Keep a prayer journal that is helpful for updates and accountability
* Once a month reports to Leadership and supporters
 
Support Needs: 

Prayer:

* The continued leading of the Spirit regarding ministry

* Raising of financial support

* My children (Amanda, Jessica and Mason)

Financial:

* Rent and utilities - $1500 monthly
* Food, clothing, essentials - $500 monthly
